Business & Personal History
Owner/operator, Brenden Farms, Scobey, Montana, have done this all my life.
Founder/President/CEO of two business corporations in Montana and North Dakota with combined inventories of up to $1 million and up to 100 employees (from 1968 until sold out in 1988).
Real estate involvements in Eastern Montana, North Dakota and Flathead area (1965 - Present).
Major stockholder and member of Board of Directors, KCGM-FM Radio, Scobey, MT.
Built and managed numerous rental properties in North Dakota and Montana.
Owned and operated four tire stores from 1968-1988 (Scobey, Plentywood, Sidney & Williston).
Served on Concordia College Board.
Married 43 years to Carol (Rein) Brenden, 3 children (Kim, Chris, Eric).
Carol (Rein) Brenden is the daughter of a Melville ranching family located in the Crazy Mountains graduating from Concordia College having a Masters Degree in vocal music from the University of Colorado, Boulder. A public/private music teacher of piano and voice, Carol has taught school in Rapid City, SD, Laurel, Mt., and Scobey, Mt. Carol adjudicates many District and State Music Festivals, is active in Scobey and Daniels County activities, served as SAFI (Scobey Alumni Foundation, Inc.) President when the new school facility was being built. Carol has been inducted into the Scobey School Hall Of Fame.
