1/89-1/93 Montana Council Member, Governor's Office, Northwest Power Planning Council, Helena, Montana.

Served with governor-appointed representatives of Idaho, Washington and Oregon to develop a 20-year electrical power plan that will guarantee adequate and reliable energy at the lowest cost to the Northwest and to develop a program to protect and rebuild the fish and wildlife populations in the Columbia River Basin that have been affected by hydroelectric development. In this capacity, I have worked to ensure that unfair impacts are not placed upon Montana citizens, industry or resources as a result of actions taken by the Council.
